How It Works

Metablogs aggregate blogs on a given topic from all across the web, packaging them for readers on a single site. Bloggers contribute by registering their site and providing their RSS feeds. Editors manage the metablog and grow the community by maintaining standards, coaching new bloggers, and writing features that highlight the best content from within the community. Readers who register with the site track their favorite bloggers, bookmark helpful blog entries, and participate in discussions with other like-minded enthusiasts.

An Example

At Houseblogs.net, new visitors can use the ‘Find people like you…’ search to find bloggers who own a house with the same style, who have experience with a particular project, or who are located in the same city.
